How do I pause my subscription, resume it, or cancel while paused?

Pausing your Scrimba Pro subscription stops future payments while keeping your account and all your progress, so you can pick up whenever you are ready.

While your subscription is paused

• We stop collecting payment, so you are not charged while the pause is active.
• Your course progress is saved, just as it is when you cancel.
• You can resume at any time.

Resuming a paused subscription

When you are ready to start studying again, email us at help@scrimba.com and we will reactivate your subscription for you.

Cancelling while paused

If you want to cancel a paused subscription so it never renews and you cannot find the option in your settings, email help@scrimba.com. We will cancel it and confirm that no payment will be taken.

Charged while paused?

If a payment was taken while your subscription was paused, email help@scrimba.com. We will void the invoice and refund you.
