How do I change my email or username, or merge two accounts?

You can change your display name yourself in your settings. To change your username, change your login email, or merge two accounts, email us and we will take care of it.

Change your display name

1. Click your profile name in the top left of the website.
2. Right-click your name and choose Edit User.
3. Update your name.

Change your username or login email

Your username (the @handle) and the email you log in with are not editable from settings. Email help@scrimba.com from the account, tell us what you would like changed, and we will update it for you.

Merge two accounts

If you accidentally ended up with a second account, for example a sign-in link created a new account instead of logging you into your existing one, email help@scrimba.com. Tell us the email addresses involved and which one has your Pro subscription, and we will merge them so your progress and access are in one place.
